RESEARCHING YOUNG ADULTS

Today, we sometimes already apply adult research 16/17 year-olds and accompany them as young adults until the age of about 30, sometimes even longer.

Within this target group we need to differentiate really meticulously, too – after all, there are a couple of really fundamental developments occur in this phase, for example:

1. Kids
2. Youth
3. Young adults
4. Parents
5. Teachers, educators
6. Experts
 
  • First own apartment, possibly including relocation
  • Driving license
  • Choice of profession, apprenticeship and first regular employment
  • Autonomy in consumption
  • Long-term intimate relationship, starting a family
  • Shift in values from the hedonism of youth to adult sense of responsibility

It is only sound knowledge of the complex interactions of these developmental stages and their enormous impact on behaviour and attitudes that allows an in-depth analysis of the target group – as well as sound recommendations for our clients.
